Drake Passage -- Falkland Islands
Almost every itinerary I've read discusses the unpredictable Drake Passage from Ushuaia to the continent but refrains from mentioning the crossing from Ushuaia to the Falkland Islands. I spoke with a tour operator today who said that the Drake Passage does extend from Ushuaia to the Falkland Islands, which was a little surprising to me.
The gist of my question is this: Has anyone experienced a rough passage from Ushuaia to the Falklands? And, is that route still considered part of the Drake Passage?
