Trip report: DAP Overnighter Dec 2018

Scott W of San Angelo, Texas provided a trip report: DAP Antarctica Overnight (26/27 December, 2018) from his DAP overnighter with his wife and their 6 year old daughter who had her birthday on the trip!! The trip report includes extra tips re clothing and boots availability for children - useful if anyone else is planning to do the trip with kids.

I traveled to King George Island in December. I took my Nikon digital camera, but I also took several disposable cameras as back-ups (in case my Nikon falls into the water, etc.). Interestingly enough, another guy in our small group (there were only six of us) had the same idea. The photos didn't exactly turn out great, but they weren't too bad for a disposable camera.
