A fantastic trip
Ship outstanding all suites wood paneled. 92 passengers. Gourmet meals. Zodiac trips and perfect organized.
Weather stunning. Out of 9 zodiacs only 1 cancelled because ice in the lemour straight. Very sunny w no wind except last landing day but went anyway. Temperature as high as 53 degrees. Was wearing rain pants only with 1 top layer. One guy wore shorts and a t-shirt. Drake passage both ways was from Drake lake to very moderate. We got very lucky. Photo gear was cell phone and Panasonic fz1000 bridge which extended to 1600 mm. I do not think 400 mm is enough if you want bird shots or seal faces at 50 feet. You need at least 1000 mm to get every shot however most passengers used cell phones. Overall pure luxury and opulence. Grand circle tours owns the ship and tours booked thru oat travel their in-house agency. Cost is about the same as most others and less than many high end shipd
