Trip Report: Snow Hill 6-19 October 2018 on the KK
June L from Asia was lucky enough to be on the Khlebnikov for trip number 1 to Snow Hill Island - and reported in from Ushuaia nice and fast!!

Last year I&E of New York wrote about what happens when an entire fly/cruise expedition is cancelled. This time the Fly/Cruise on the Ocean Adventurer with Quark Expedition went without a hitch. They were on the 28 Dec 2018 to 4 Jan 2019 trip , so got to celebrate New year's in Antarctica.

AmericanInEurope02 of San Antonio, Texas has given us a nice detailed trip report of their trip to Falklands, South Georgia and the crossing of the Antarctic circle on the Ocean Endeavour from December 18, 2018 through Jan 9, 2019 including lots of details about the ship itself.

Fiona K of Sydney has provided her trip report of her 11-day cruise on the Ocean Endeavour (Quark, Jan 8-18, 2019) (including great details about some big seas in the Drake.
Landings included Portal Point (continental landing!), Graham Passage, Ronge Island (campers only), Lion Island, Jougla Point & Port Lockroy, Lemaire Channel, Base Brown (2nd continental landing!) & Paradise Harbour, Fort Point, Hardy Cove, and Barrientos Island.

Barry from Dublin Ireland, travelled with Quark on Ultramarine on 5 Jan 2024.
He made a fantastic half hour You Tube video trip report that included a medical evac of a crew member, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, helicopter flights, zodiacing, and plenty of whales, seals, penguins galore.

I thoroughly recommend watching it on your biggest tv screen!!
